Gordon Street PreSchool in Beaumaris was established in 1959 and is a community run PreSchool. We are proud to have started an association with the school and its families and look forward to assisting the school in to the future.
In 2018, after 100 years at our Charman Road location, it was time to make way for progress in the form of the level crossing removal at Cheltenham station. With a site secured in Station Road, we embarked on a journey of demolition and development, to bring to Cheltenham a pharmacy set to serve the community for another 100 years.
As progress was made on the Station Road site, a temporary move to smaller premises in Park Road in 2019 ensured we were still able to service our community, and with fresh new consultation rooms, we delivered over 1000 flu vaccinations over the 2 year period we were at that location.
Finally in November 2020, after not only a lengthy build process, but also a year like no other with COVID, we moved to Station Road and have settled in like we have always been here. Our state of the art pharmacy consists of two consultation rooms and forward dispensing, ensuring our pharmacist are always accessible. We have also been able to extend and expand our brands on offer, ensuring we cover all of our customer’s needs.
The Board and staff of TerryWhite Chemmart Cheltenham have worked tirelessly over the last 4 years to bring to Cheltenham the continued legacy of a not for profit pharmacy, dedicated to giving back to its community. We look forward to welcoming you all to our new pharmacy.
2020 may have been a challenging year, but for us, our community work was more important than ever.
Mentone Clovers Netball Club were recent recipients of a community grant to provide new training netballs for the teams, and we have begun a new relationship with Gordon Street PreSchool, providing vouchers for their AGM.
